In March 2016 Sirius Remediation commenced installation of an in-situ soil mix barrier to prevent contamination originating from a former tar works migrating toward the River Tyne.

Mango Studio were commissioned by Sirius to document the work through time lapse photography.

Over a three month period we used a mixture of time lapse photography as well as real time and high speed filming to show the process of the preventative works of tar contamination on the River Tyne.

This was done to show not only the speed of the work using the fixed time lapse camera but also by using real time and high speed filming to show the technical aspects of the work being carried out and to give the film more context and a dynamic feel.
