As we enter a new phase of living, Mango Studio is looking at how best to offer its clients a new way of working within film production.
Safety of our staff, clients and the public at large is of critical importance and will be central to all aspects of our work.
As we look to the future, we are thinking of new ways of carrying out our services for our clients, whilst adhering to the strictest possible forms of health and safety. Also whilst maintaining the highest quality of film production as ever.
Below you will find the 10 steps Mango Studio will be following to determine how and when a project will be greenlit.
These steps will be reviewed on a monthly basis.
Step 1 – All staff must feel comfortable to return to work and feel there is low risk to their health whilst performing their duties.
Step 2 – A complete risk assessment will be carried out to determine the project’s viability. Low, Medium and High Risk will be the result of the assessments. Only Low risk projects will be carried out in the interim period.
Step 3 – Based on a Low Risk outcome the film production crew will be a maximum of 5 people on set.
Step 4 – All crew will wear face masks, gloves and when in doors plastic cover for shoes.
Step 5 – Social distancing will be adhered to at all times whilst filming. (2 meter rule)
Step 6 – All kit to be cleaned before, during and after filming.
Step 7 – Drone filming and stock footage to be used as creatively as possible.
Step 8 – Regular and effective handwashing and hand sanitiser available on set.
Step 9 – Staff who travel or visit other company premises may also need additional equipment or briefing.
Step 10 – All editing will be done remotely and reviewed online.
We are opening up our bookings from June with a view to start filming in July.
If you have any thoughts or questions please get in touch.
As ever we hope you are safe and well.
Best wishes
